What to Expect with the BRP in 2026
Bible reading stays central at TheRoad, and in 2026 we are going further. You will still follow our regular reading plan with clear, consistent daily readings. Scripture remains the foundation.
New this year, we are slowing down each week to focus on one chapter. That chapter will be broken down with big ideas from the text, clear challenges, and simple application you can live out. The goal is not only to read more, but to understand better and respond with obedience.
This approach helps you move past intention and into dedication. Reading builds rhythm. Focused study builds understanding. Application shapes your life.

Why We ROAD
At TheRoad, we see following Jesus as a journey—one of learning, growing, and helping others do the same. Our mission is to help everyone take steps toward spiritual maturity through our discipleship model and our emphasis on L-L-L: learn about Jesus, live like Jesus, and lead others to Jesus.
The BRP
Our Bible Reading Plan (BRP) is a key tool in this journey. For 2025, we’ll explore the Psalms, digging into their meaning and how they apply to our lives today.
- Learn About Jesus: Discover God’s truth and deepen your understanding of His Word.
- Live Like Jesus: Apply what you read to grow in character and faith.
- Lead Others to Jesus: Use what you learn to encourage and disciple others.
Why It Matters

Why We Do Advent as a Church
Advent is a season of preparing our hearts for the coming of Jesus. For generations, God’s people waited for the Savior He had promised. When Jesus was born, every promise was fulfilled in Him. Today, we also wait—with faith and hope—for the day when Jesus will come again. As a church family, we celebrate Advent to keep our eyes on Jesus in the middle of a busy season. Advent helps us slow down, open God’s Word, and grow together in hope, peace, joy, love, and the truth that God is with us. By reading Scripture, asking questions, and practicing faith as families, we remind each other that Christmas is not just about a holiday—it’s about a Savior who changes our lives forever.
